We are seeking an energetic individual who is hungry to learn and gain experience in the publishing industry. The ?Ad Designer? role is one that requires daily interaction (verbal and written) with leading business professionals in the architecture, interior design, construction and energy markets. The Designer will work alongside an experienced writing and design staff to see projects from beginning ?idea? stages through to completion of a printed product.
Designer will be assigned 2-3 new advertising clients per day and will work to create impactful ads for placement in a B2B trade magazine.
Role will require use of adobe creative suite 5, acrobat.com and a web-based CRM.

Required Skills/Experience
Passion for taking a blank slate and creating something beautiful using challenging content
Being technically savvy is a must in order to succeed in this role
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, creative environment
Strong knowledge of social media such as Facebook, Twitter or WordPress is a plus
Thrives in an autonomous working environment with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity to meet deadlines; shows relentless persistence
